http://www.flickr.com/photos/62329806@N03/8068568799/in/photostream/I was
finally able to get a photograph of a Lincoln's Sparrow on VINS grounds in
Quechee this AM. I was afraid I had missed the window for the fall again,
but happily I was wrong. I saw one clearly with my binoculars as I drove
into the staff parking lot (I'm a volunteer.. not a trespasser!) but wasn't
quick enough with my camera, but was able to get a recognizable shot back
up the driveway...and out beyond the dumpster.. Made my day to get any
shot at all!

I didn't even attempt to do an accurate count of other birds that were
there, but others that I noted the presence of during my single-minded
Lincoln's search were:
White-crowned Sparrows
White-throated Sparrows
Dark-eyed Juncos
American Robins
American Crow
Blue Jay
Savannah Sparrow (exciting for me as I do more birding at home than
anywhere else.. and they don't come to my house, AND I got pictures)
Palm Warbler.. not sure east or west..
Eastern Phoebes
Hairy Woodpecker
Lots of Song Sparrows
Common Yellowthroats (I think... Fairly sure males in winter plumage and
guessing females in winter plumage as they were together, but not positive)
Yellow-rumped Warbler(s)
