>Subject: IALL Election Results

------------------
It is my pleasure to announce the results of the recent IALL election. The new officers, to be installed at the IALL meeting in Houston, are:

President: David Pankratz (Loyola University Chicago)
President-Elect: Peter Liddell (University of Victoria, British Columbia)
Secretary: Lynne Crandall (University of Michigan)
Programs Director: Harold Hendricks (Brigham Young University)
Treasurer: Lauren Rosen (University of Wisconsin System)

The resolution to transfer IALL assets to the newly incorporated IALL also passed.

Thanks to all who voted. Thanks to all those who agreed to run for office. We were most fortunate to have an outstanding slate of candidates. And finally, thanks to the excellent work of our Elections Committee: Nina Garret (Chair), Ed Dente, and Sue Otto.

We'll see you ALL in Houston at IALL 2001 (visit the conference site at http://iall.rice.edu/)!
