A *free* class for PE credit
T@D's curriculum is designed around the evidence-based Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) & Koru Mindfulness models.
The purpose of this 8-week course is to help you support your wellness by cultivating a simple, effective mindfulness practice and practicing skills that promote stress-management; healthy relationships with self and others; resilience; and mental, intellectual, physical, & social wellbeing.
As a result of this course, you will learn skills that can increase your ability to:
* Cope with stress, pain, and the challenges of everyday life.
* Cultivate inner calm.
* Live in the present moment (not lost in anxiety about the past or future).
* Notice negative thinking patterns and their effect on stress.
* Keep things in perspective.
Course begins on Thursday, January 12th (No classes Jan 16-20)
Mondays 3-4:20 pm & Thursdays 4-5:20 pm | Capped at 20
