* WISP Peer Mentor Coordinator: ’19 Woman Needed *
The WISP Peer Mentor Program (PMP) is overseen by two Peer Mentor
Coordinators, one senior and one junior. As Rachel Patel ’17 has
graduated, WISP seeks a ’19 woman to partner with Kimberly Ma '18 as the
2017-2018 WISP Peer Mentor Coordinator team. The ’19 Peer Mentor
Coordinator would then serve as the senior coordinator the following
year.
Kimberly Ma ’18, will be on campus in fall, winter and spring. The ’19
PMP Coordinator will need to be on campus this summer and at least fall
term. This is a paid position. Hours are flexible but co-coordinators
share roughly 5 - 10 hours per week, depending on activities term.
Qualifications:
• Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to the mission of the program: to develop strong peer
support among women in science, and to directly support the journey of
women in science
• Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work both independently and
cooperatively
Responsibilities:
• Recruiting mentors and mentees for peer mentor program (beginning
summer term)
• Matching mentors to mentees & manage database
• Working with Co-coordinator and WISP Advisor to design and to plan
activities that support mission of the program (about 2-4 per term)
• Maintaining communication & troubleshoots problems

* Summer at the Montshire Museum of Science *
The Montshire Museum of Science, right across the Ledyard Bridge in
Norwich is the Upper Valley’s hands-on science museum. Walking distance
from campus, the museum has both indoor and outdoor exhibits. The museum
also boasts a trail system for hikes, including the model of our solar
system. Bet you can’t get all the way to pluto on the trails. For more

* Astronomical Observing *
Weather permitting, you can go see the moon, planets and stars through
Shattuck Observatory’s telescopes. Open Fridays this summer from 6/30/17
– 8/18/17 from 9:00-11:00 p.m. Call 603-646-9100 to check availability
if weather looks iffy.
