Dear UVCB Members,

   Thank you all for the flowers.  They're very pretty and cheer up my  
day when my voice is having trouble  speaking!  I'd also like to thank  
all of you for your thoughtfulness, prayers and well-wishes.  They all  
helped and I had  a successful surgery.

  I'm afraid I put my family through an awful lot of anxiety, stress,  
and sleepness nights.  However, the surgeon did a fantastic job, and  
actually attached a small nerve to the laryngeal nerve that had to be  
severed (cancer was in it) so I could have a voice; not the same as of  
yet, but still a voice.

  I hope to play with you all again, but it may be another season or  
two.  Time will tell.
