The original twitter(er).

So, as the evening draws near, I pay attention to the evening light. There
is a magic moment (1 candle light) that is the prerequisite amount to

trigger the courtship activity of ol' Mr. Timberdoodle, aka
Am. Woodcock.

I have lived here on Academy Road in Thetford for 27 years, and bless their
lil hearts, we have been blessed every year with the magic of woodcock
courtship

display (peenting and aerial twittering, the original).
Usually for 1-2 months.

So, keep your ears and eyes open. They are a "right of spring".

Cheers

Bill S
