In Orford, an adult was observed this morning perched in a white pine overlooking the Reeds Marsh WMA on NH Rt.10. Fifteen minutes later in Lyme, a first or second year bird - bill uniformly dark and underneath, clearly defined black and white patterning visible when it took flight - was seen in a tree on the Connecticut River's east bank about 200 yards north of 424 River Rd.
