With all the reports coming in from so many sources( thanks for your input,Pam Hunt)I decided this morning to check my data from the Cornell Lab Feederwatch for previous years. I have not checked it all yet, but compared to last year, my data for the first count this year Nov.11/12 had half the number of individual birds and half the species that I observed last year. I will continue to monitor the changes as the season progresses.

I have noticed the same lack of birds here in Plainfield.  Talking to friends in Mass they are seeing the same lack of birds.  What concerns me personally is I just got back from birding in Louisiana and was told down there that it is the worst migration they have ever seen.



Does anyone, who is proficient with eBird, know if there is a way to compare data from this year to previous years to see if there is any change in the data that has been submitted?
