At 9 am today I did a quick count of the birds in my backyard.  

There were:

At least 14 Goldfinches

8 Juncos

3- 4 Tree Sparrows

4 House Finches

3 Cardinals

And 1 -2 Chickadees in and out.

 

There have been times when I have counted as many as 9 Cardinals at one time
usually in the late afternoon.
