While working in the field yesterday conducting annual visits to conserved land, I saw/heard: barred owls, northern flickers, juncos, white-throated sparrows, a partridge, a woodcock, AND watched a nest of snapping turtle eggs hatch. Oh, and all in the company of a good friend. Life is good.
