Campbell Flats was fairly quiet this morning, with no sign of the Little
Blue Heron, which appears to have been last observed there this past
Sunday. The beavers have reinforced their dam downstream of the culvert,
and this has extensively flooded the adjacent meadow, possibly reducing
foraging opportunities for wading birds.

There were a few migrants along the wooded edge of the corn field.
Highlights among 28 species:

Turkey Vulture 1
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 2 immatures
Eastern Phoebe 5
Eastern Kingbird 8

Veery 1 calling
Gray Catbird 6
Cedar Waxwing 4

Yellow Warbler 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 4 1 molting adult, 3 HYs
Black-throated Green Warbler 1
