That's the Champlain Basin.  Headed west and south from Middlebury. to
Shoreham.

Monday and Tuesday morn.

 

 

13 Rough-legged Hawks     only 1 light phase.  Sweet hovering.

11 Red-tails

2 No. Harriers.     One each male/F

8 Bald Eagles

2 Am Kestrels    both male

 

Com Mergs         lots (100)

Hooded Mergs     6

Co Goldeneye      14  no Barrows

Buffleheads          6

Mallards               lots

Black Ducks         12

No Pintail             10

 

Snow Buntings     400/ 150/ 250/250     pretty fun, rather jumpy so they
flew a lot.

Horned Lark     1    Sure there were more, but hard to find.

 

2 Eastern Bluebirds.
