My wife Lorena and I went out for a couple hours of birdwatching at
Herrick's Cove yesterday.

Highlights were a male Red-bellied Woodpecker and a flock of 12 American
Tree Sparrows.

Other species:

Hooded Merganser - 12
Blue Jay
American Crow
Black-capped Chickadee - flock of about ten
White-breasted Nuthatch
American Robin - flock of ten
European Starling - flock of about 100
Northern Cardinal - 4 males, 2 females
Song Sparrow - only one
