Thank you to leader George Clark and all who joined us this morning at Mink Brook in Hanover. The first hour was quite cold and relatively quiet, but things warmed up and so did the bird activity. Highlights included 3 Green-winged Teal (2 males and 1 female), numerous Wood Ducks, a Spotted Sandpiper, Winter Wrens and a Carolina Wren, several singing Yellow-rumped Warblers, and one Black-and-White. Other notables were two Blue-headed Vireos and a fly-over Broad-winged Hawk.

Watch for notice for next Saturday's trip to the Pine Knoll Cemetery and adjacent South Esker.

Good birding
