On January 1, 2017, at 7 a.m., we will hold the National Audubon Christmas Bird Count. We welcome your participation. We will meet in front of Hopkins Center

Teams of birders will divide up a 15 mile diameter circle to census species and numbers of birds wintering here in the Upper Valley. Dress very warm for the weather, bring a lunch and a pair of binoculars, and enjoy the all day camaraderie. At the end of the day, we gather at Everything But anchovies on Allen Street in Hanover after dark (by 5 pm for  food and a tally of the birds. Please let me know if you plan to participate so that we can formulate teams and territories.
