I checked the Chimney Swift roost last night.  It was very quiet  with only
a couple of swifts who would periodically show up then disappear.  Around
8:15 a lot of swifts appeared. Very different behavior than previously when
there were always some swifts constantly around.  Total count last night
118, down from 144 six days earlier.
It will be interesting to see if the swifts have moved to a different
roost, as they had last year, or if migration has started.
