A couple of us checked for the egret reported in Orford yesterday without
luck. The homeowner who reported had not seen it either, but the behaviors
she described to me made me wonder if it was actually a Cattle Egret
(closely associating with the cows, no water nearby). It might be worth it
to check herds of cows elsewhere in the UV!
