Yesterday with snow retreating, went down the Montshire Museum path to
the overlook at Blood Brook with friends.
The falls were roaring into the bay, the platform covered by a foot of
crusty snow.
The bay itself was an arctic scene of mini glaciers slowly floating
toward the railroad arch. And there, under an icy overhang, sheltered
from wind and sun, was a pair of black ducks.
