Yesterday with snow retreating, went down the Montshire Museum path to the overlook at Blood Brook with friends. The falls were roaring into the bay, the platform covered by a foot of crusty snow. The bay itself was an arctic scene of mini glaciers slowly floating toward the railroad arch. And there, under an icy overhang, sheltered from wind and sun, was a pair of black ducks.
