Took a tour of some local ponds and a short stretch of the Connecticut River this AM looking for storm blown birds.

Didn't find anything exotic but there were a few interesting sightings.

Goose Pond: Black Scoter (47), White-winged Scoter (4), Bufflehead (3)

Ct. River: Black Scoter (8), Canada Goose (200+/-)

Ompompanoosuc River/ Pompy flats: Green-winged Teal (27), Bufflehead (3)

There were also several Common Loons, Mallards, Am. Black Ducks and two Ring-billed Gulls.

Lloyd
