This morning there were four American Kestrels, two adult Northern Harriers 1 male, 1 female, and a Red Tail Hawk in the area of the Kestrel nest box on State Farm Road off Marton Road on the Windsor prison property. Recently a rehabilitated baby Kestrel from a distant site was released onto the the top of the Kestrel nest box along that small road near the red pump house. The baby Kestrel was immediately adopted and fed by a resident female adult Kestrel. Windsor avian Welcome Wagon in action. Michael.
