Three males at the home feeders this morning. First I've seen anywhere this year.

Yesterday, drove River Rd. from the Lyme/Hanover boundary to its junction with NH Rt. 10 in Orford. Pickings were very slim. Almost no activity other than a smattering of jays, juncos and chickadees. There was a flock of 30 starlings near the road's north end. The clear highlight was an adult bald eagle passing overhead at the Rt. 10/River Rd. junction as it flew south. One of the two Orford birds nesting nearby?
