This is an update on tomorrow's Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire
Audubon bird walk from 7:00 to 10:00 AM (on Saturday August 18, 2012}.
Participants are to meet for carpooling at 7:00 AM in the commuter
parking lot by the Ledyard Bridge; entrance to that lot is off River
Road in Norwich, VT. This bird walk is free and open to the public.
Bring binoculars and scopes if available.

This bird walk, to be led by George Clark, is to cover parts of the
town of Norwich. We'll be particularly seeking fall migrants,
initially in sites near the Connecticut River and, if time allows,
might also visit locations away from the river. Fall landbird
migration is now substantially underway as indicated in part this past
week in Norwich by the call notes of nocturnal migrants descending for
landings well before sunrise.

George Clark
Norwich, VT
