I checked a few spots this afternoon along the Mascoma and Connecticut
Rivers. Lots of waterfowl from several locations, most notably (given the
date) was a male Wood Duck near the mouth of the Mascoma River, viewed from
Two Rivers Conservation Area in West Lebanon. Also at this spot was the
large American Crow roost, hundreds in the trees along both sides of the
Connecticut River north of the I89 bridge. Also Dennis Draper reports the
Baltimore Oriole continues at his suet at the end of Mascoma Lake.
