There was a Clay-colored Sparrow flying around with a Chipping Sparrow and a Song Sparrow this morning on the Northern Rail Trail at Potato Road in Canaan.  There were also three hunters with three guns and four dogs ahead on the trail.  Is hunting allowed on the Rail Trail?  We turned back before we caught up with them, after we heard one gun shot.
