Just spent a couple hours down to Runnemede in Windsor Vermont. Discovered a nest in progress as I started to walk the path around the pond towards the tree swallow nesting boxes. Met  Peggy Madden and on my way out. Showed her the nest she's believes it's a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. My nesting book describes the nest comparable to the nest of a Ruby Throated Hummingbird in beauty of construction, that's what I thought when I first saw the nest. The nest is being built by the pair. Also heard and saw Common Yellowthroat, Yellow warblers, Black-and-white warblers, lots of Song Sparrows, Tree swallows Cardinals and a  pair of Eastern King Birds.Male Baltimore Oriole singing did not see him, came home to see a male  Baltimore Oriole eating grape jelly on my deck.Janet Mead
