Last Friday, when went for a walk (without binoculars) while my car was being serviced, I saw a silhouetted bird perched on a tree top that I thought was a shrike. This was near the Hartford aqua sport complex. On Sat I heard but did not see a small flock of crossbills on the Quechee side of the Hurricane Forest sanctuary.
