Earlier this afternoon I walked the River Trail in Hanover. Extensive flats were exposed on Mink Brook, and on those flats were 6 Spotted Sandpipers and a whopping 19 Solitary Sandpipers! This could be a good time to find some less expected shorebirds there, too. I’ll keep looking!
