It seems that N. Cardinals have been very present in the Upper Valley this winter. We have had a trio (2 males, one female) at our feeders for at least the past 6 weeks. Though we have had them around, (and even nesting) occasionally over the years we have been at our home here in Thetford, this is the first in many years that we have had such a representation on a regular basis in the winter time. Curious about what seems to be a population explosion....
