Several Ruby-crowned Kinglets were singing enthusiastically at noon
today near the shallow pond behind the Ray School and around Storrs
Pond in Hanover. Their boisterous song is one we hear daily during
our spring field trips near Anchorage, AK, but we have heard their
song infrequently here on our home turf.

White-throated Sparrows and Hermit Thrushes were singing tentatively
this evening behind our house.
