A Northern Goshawk was just here under our suet feeder. It listened and looked intently at the tunnel-ridden snow, but in the end flew off to a neighbor's property without finding a meal. Judging by the brown plumage and vertical heavy streaking on the breast, we think it's a first-year bird.
