Hey everyone,
 
This evening I went over to Mink Brook. Not many landbirds, but a pretty decent number of waterbirds: Canada Geese, Wood Duck, American Black Duck, Mallard, Hooded Merganser, and 2 adult female Common Mergansers. The best bird though was a winter adult Common Loon that I found foraging on the Connecticut River. Is this a little late in the season for them here?
