The Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon held its first
evening bird walk of the season at the Union Village Dam
on Wednesday.  A small
but determined group, undeterred by threats
of rain, wind and hail, id’d 28 bird species, including both Louisiana and Northern Waterthrushes
 
Our next walk will be Friday, 7am back at the UV Dam,
Buzzell Bridge Road entrance (Thetford Center).  Meet at the large parking area one-half mile in from the entrance.
