Barbara Will is the A. and R. Newbury Professor of English. She is a specialist in 20th-century literature, culture, and history, with a comparative emphasis upon Anglo-American and French modernism. Her current book project considers how expatriate writers responded to the Vichy regime in France.

As an administrator, Dean Will was previously the chair of the Presidential Steering Committee of Moving Dartmouth Forward and currently serves as Associate Dean of Arts and Humanities at Dartmouth.
