Hello all sustainable transportation aficionados!

If you're still trying to figure out your spring break travel plans, you're
in luck! The Dartmouth Student Government offering a *free shuttle *to the
White River Junction Amtrak train station. The passenger van will run from
the bus stop in front of the Rauner Special Collections Library to the
train station in downtown White River Junction, where you can connect to
the daily Amtrak *Vermonter* train to Vermont, western Massachusetts,
Connecticut, NYC, Philadelphia, DC, and more. This train stops in White
River Junction heading toward DC in the morning and toward northern Vermont
in the evening every day.

The shuttle will operate on *Saturday, March 9* and *Sunday, March 10* to
provide service for the last weekend before spring break and on *Saturday,
March 23* and *Sunday, March 24* to provide service for the weekend right
before Spring Term begins. Because Advance Transit runs free bus service to
and from the station on weekdays and Saturday mornings, the shuttle will
operate only in the evening on Saturday to serve the northbound train. The
shuttle will operate in both the morning and the evening on Sunday to serve
the trains heading in both directions. If you need to take the train
on a *weekday
or Saturday morning*, take the free Advance Transit Green, Orange, or
Yellow bus lines. <https://advancetransit.com/>

Access the info sheet, sign-up form, and more resources below. We will make
every effort to accommodate all students with reservations and Amtrak
tickets. In addition, if your train is running late, the shuttle will wait
as well, so you won't need to worry about being stranded! Expect a similar
email from Student Government soon.
