This is an important reminder concerning Rapport Grants and delineation between the "Funding Proposal" and the "SF424"


As discussed in training and described in our user guides, it is imperative that you follow the instructions and only make the very limited changes that are outlined as being appropriate for direct input into the SF424.  Do not make any other changes in the SF424 other than the very few that are outlined in the DRA guide on the OSP website.   We realize that this might be an ongoing point of confusion for some users.  However, we have attempted to convey the importance of how this handled.     We are unaware of any reason that would impede making the required changes in the Funding Proposal rather than the SF424.  The "create/update" function will overwrite your changes made in the SF424 and in the last minute rush it is highly unlikely that you will identify the problem.


Please refer to the DRA guide on the OSP website for further details and contact your Grant Officer or the Rapport Help Desk with questions.   We hope to the make the process more streamlined with Full Grants.  However, we will be moving more documents to the FP with Full Grants so good to get used to not entering into the SF424 now.
