Hey that’s interesting! Do the applications you put into that folder show up in Launchpad?

If we can create /Users/~/Applications and use it like in the previous versions of the OS then we could say that in fact nothing has changed as far as this issue is concerned. The only thing we have to do then is to make ~ / Library visible and everything is again like it always used to be. :-)
