Hello all!

PLEASE NOTE! The deadline to apply for the Class of '85 Bridges to Health Professions Fund is this SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3rd at 11:59 PM EST.

The mission of the Class of '85's Bridges to Health Professions Fund is to help diversify the medical profession by reducing financial barriers of preparing for and taking the MCAT for Dartmouth pre-health students with high financial need and academic preparedness. This year the Bridges Fund will provide up to four grants of $1,500 to current Dartmouth students.

Who is eligible to apply for the Bridges Grant? *

  * Dartmouth Juniors facing socio-economic barriers to preparing for the MCAT and with an academic plan to utilize grant funds to purchase materials/test registration for the MCAT by January 2025 (for test dates up through June 2025).

  * Dartmouth Seniors facing socio-economic barriers and with an academic plan to utilize grant funds to purchase materials/test registration for the MCAT by June 2024 (for test dates up through September 2024).

What if I have already purchased supplies/materials to prepare to take the MCAT in January 2024?

  * Eligible applicants (see above) who plan to take the exam this January 2024 and who have already invested financial resources in preparing for the MCAT this Fall may be retroactively reimbursed if they are selected.

What if I have applied for the Geisel Early Assurance Program?

  * If a student is a current applicant for Geisel's Early Assurance Program, they may apply for this grant. Because students accepted into EAP are not required to take the MCAT, applicants who receive an interview invite will no longer be eligible for the grant at this time, but they are welcome to apply again in the future, depending on their outcome.

Applications are due this Sunday, December 3rd at 11:59 PM EST!
