In order to cultivate a community focused on teaching and learning
amongst graduate students and postdocs, DCAL has established a Learning
Community for Future Faculty (LCFF). The focus of this group is to share
the rewards and challenges of college teaching, while digging a bit
deeper into best practices and techniques for teaching. The LCFF meets
monthly on the 2nd Monday of the month.

* Peer Tutoring Program Coordinator position *

Good morning.

The Tutor Clearinghouse/Academic Skills Center is reaching out to you to
identify recently-graduated seniors who may be looking for work while
spending a “gap” year (or longer) in the Hanover area.

The Tutor Clearinghouse is currently conducting a search for our Peer
Tutoring Program Coordinator position. A position description is
enclosed. The position recruits peer tutors and study group leaders,
matches them with the high demand of requests for tutoring, and problem
solves the myriad of issues that accompany the hiring and matching of
hundreds of students each term.

A strong candidate is someone who is organized, detail-oriented,
confident with spreadsheets, and student friendly.

If you know recent graduates who may be interested in this position,
please encourage them to go to http://searchjobs.dartmouth.edu/postings/41858
and click on the link to “apply for this job.”
