pasting text into filemaker fields

If I paste text from another application into a Filemaker field (Windows,
FMP12), it retains the format (ie font size) created in the original
application.

 

Is there a way to make it assume the format specified for the Filemaker
field?

 

This seems to be a change from FMP11?
