Off next term? Interested in women's empowerment?  Funding is available to pursue an internship serving a community in the in need in the U.S. through the Dartmouth Partners in Community Service Program (DPCS, domestic, US based) or internationally through the Tucker Fellowship Program at the Tucker Foundation!



Examples of past DPCS Internships:

*          Intern at WISE in Lebanon, NH

*          Support assistant at a women's drop-in homeless shelter in Berkeley, CA

*          Outreach coordinator at Standing against Global Exploitation (SAGE) in San Francisco, CA

*          Business advisor at the Center for Women and Enterprise in Boston, MA



If you're looking to go abroad, consider a Tucker Fellowship!

Examples of past Tucker Fellowships:

*          Program coordinator and teacher with Awamaki in Ollantaytambo, Peru

*          Intern at the Surajya Sawwangin Vikas Prakalpa in Pune, India

*          Rehabilitation counselor with the AFESIP Cambodia in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

*          Program assistant with Sisters of Rwanda in Kigali, Rwanda

Requirements:

*Work at least 40 hours a week

*Work for 8-10 weeks

*Directly serve an under-resourced community

*At least 60% Direct Service

*Serve through a non-profit organization
