Join us in Rockefeller 003 on Thursday, May 19th at 4:30 pm to hear "Chemical Nation: How Americans Became Guinea Pigs in a Vast, Haphazard Chemistry Experiment."

Mariah Blake is a Murrey Marder Nieman Fellow in Watchdog Journalism at Harvard University. Her writing has appeared in The Atlantic, The Columbia Journalism Review, Foreign Policy, Mother Jones, The New Republic, and numerous other publications. She will discuss the industry-funded war on science that she believes has transformed Americans into guinea pigs in a vast, haphazard chemistry experiment. Her lecture will explore how the chemical industry pioneered policy framework that was later used by other industries to thwart regulation.

We hope to see you there!
