Muzička is a traditional Czech cimbálovka - an ensemble centered around the cimbál, an instrument prominent in Eastern European folk tradition. Hailing from Prague, Czech Republic and traveling to the US for the first time, this talented group of young musicians is ready to entertain you. Muzička performs a wide variety of instrumental and vocal repertoire - from centuries-old dance forms such as the polka, the čardáš and the UNESCO-protected verbuňk to farm and pub songs depicting every aspect of Czech peasant life - coming primarily from the South Moravian region of the Czech Republic. Don't miss out on rousing music, vibrant costumes, and great company!
