                                                                                                                                        Looking for a meaningful way to spend your off-term?

                                                                                                                     Want to pursue your interests in education, law, health, or social work?


 Funding is available through the Dartmouth Center for Service!


Apply for up to $4000 in funding to support a community service internship (self-designed!) either abroad or in the US through the:



International Internship Program (anywhere in the world outside of the US)

                                                                                           Note: Funding for International Internships is NOT available for 16S but WILL be offered for 16X and onward

Or

Dartmouth Partners in Community Service Program (domestic, U.S. based projects)

Funding for DPCS is available for all terms



Part interns have:

  *    Involved with designing and implementing technology workshops and apps geared toward transpeople in California
  *    Worked with healthcare for the homeless and refugees in Boston
  *    Taught English in Costa Rica, Ecuador, and China
  *    Assisted in medical centers in Serbia, Chicago, and New Hampshire
  *    Worked with AIDS patients in India, New York, and South Africa
  *    Mentored students in Bolivia, New Jersey and Mexico
  *    Been involved with various other initiatives working toward the common good!

Requirements:

·         Work at least 40 hours a week

·         Work for 8-10 weeks

·         Directly serve an under-resourced community

·         Commit to at least 60% direct service

·         Serve through a non-profit organization

Monday: 3-5 PM

Tuesday: 9-2 PM

Wednesday:  3-5 PM

Thursday: 10-12 PM

Friday: 8-11 AM
