Come find out this Thursday at 4:30 PM in Rocky 3 during B.U. Law Professor James Fleming's Roger S. Aaron '64 lecture on "The Myth of Strict Scrutiny for Fundamental Rights".

Fleming, the Honorable Frank R. Kenison Distinguished Scholar in Law, and Associate Dean for Research and Intellectual Life at Boston University School of Law, is the co-author of multiple books surrounding the topic, including Securing Constitutional Democracy: The Case of Autonomy and Constitutional Interpretation. His lecture will focus on debunking the myth that our fundamental rights are inherently protected under the Due Process Clause and how today's Court has applied a more defensible framework: reasoned judgment in protecting "ordered liberty."

And stay afterwards for a 6:00 PM PoliTALK dinner with James Fleming and FREE JEWEL OF INDIA. RSVP here:
