After the greatest meeting in the history of meetings, Atheists, Humanists, and Agnostics at Dartmouth (AHA) are doing it again! Today at 5:30pm<x-apple-data-detectors://0> in Robinson Hall room 14/15 (it is in the basement) we will be meeting up and talking about all sorts of amazingness! This week we are going to talk about....

Humanism and all of it's glories

The "Innocence of Muslims" and the reaction to it in the Middle East

And David Niose, the President of American Humanist Association....(AHA)

After our meeting we are going to walk over to the Dartmouth bookstore at 7pm<x-apple-data-detectors://1> where David Niose will be talking about his new book, "Nonbeliever Nation: The Rise of Secular Americans". If you can't make this time, or you just want to meet David in a smaller group, well you are in luck! David has volunteered to meet with a limited amount of students at 4pm Today<x-apple-data-detectors://2> on campus. If you are interested send us a reply quickly! Spaces are limited for the pre-lecture event. David is an active attorney and civil rights activist, you do not want to miss this opportunity! Check out his biography at the bottom....

If you have any questions or comments just hit reply or send us a message through blitz to Atheists Humanists Agnostics!

David Niose has served since 2009 as president of the American Humanist Association, an organization that promotes humanism and defends the rights of humanists and other non-theistic Americans.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Niose#cite_note-3>

Niose was born August 20, 1962 in Concord, Ma. He graduated from Boston University in 1984 and cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 1990.<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Niose#cite_note-4> Niose advocates for an identity-oriented approach to secular activism to raise awareness of the secular demographic in American society. Using the LGBT movement as a model, Niose argues that by “coming out” and asserting rights as a minority group, nonbelievers can similarly gain acceptance. Critical of the Religious Right, Niose argues progressive policy goals will be difficult or impossible to attain without the secular demographic in America asserting itself
