GlobeMed at Dartmouth is partnered with Kachin Women's Association Thailand (KWAT), which is centered in Chiang Mai, Thailand. KWAT's goal is to assist and empower the Kachin women and children who have been displaced from their homes in the Kachin State of Burma due to significant political unrest and internal warfare.
