The ACADEMIC SKILLS CENTER and the TUTOR CLEARINGHOUSE are looking for a few good interns to help with the work they will do during fall term.

  *   Apply for a full- or part-time internship for the fall term!
  *   Work as a Peer Academic Enrichment Intern or an Academic Skills Center Intern!
  *   APPLY BY September 15 AT 3 P.M.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

  *   Facilitating parts of the Resident Expert program and other special projects;
  *   Assisting in program promotion (social media/bulletin boards, flyers, etc.);
  *   Program development and assessment;
  *   Help coordinate the Study Group Program;
  *   Website management projects;
  *   Database maintenance;
  *   Online research; and
  *   Miscellaneous projects and administrative duties to support the Academic Skills Center/Tutor Clearinghouse activities


CANDIDATE SHOULD:

  *   Be an independent, motivated student who wants to help others;
  *   Have excellent communication/organizational skills in order to further the goals of the Tutor Clearinghouse and Academic Skills Center;
  *   Be attentive to detail and have a strong internal motivation and the ability to work well independently; and,
  *   Have solid computer skills, as they are an important component of these positions.
