This year V-Feb, a month long call to end violence against women and girls, wants to actively include the voices of trans* women who have long been left out of the conversation.

We would like to hold an event where the stories of trans* women are shared with the student body. We hope that the format of it would be students reading stories from trans* women interspersed with videos from trans* women themselves.

We recognize that students will have significantly different positionalities than the trans* women whose stories they read, and would like the student speakers to acknowledge their postionality before they speak.

With all that being said, we would like to put out a call to students to volunteer to read these stories during Trans* women Day of Visibility on February 11th from 5-6:30p in One Wheelock. No acting experience is necessary, just a want to share these stories and actively engage in creating visibility for trans*women. If interested please blitz Yejadai Dunn or Gustavo Mercado Mu?niz
