Hi Everyone,

As we are well into the season of Lent, tonight at Theology on Tap we will be discussing one of the ways that many use to engage with their faith: fasting. Fasting itself can be defined as a voluntary abstinence from food, drink, or both for an extended period of time, but its effects go far beyond the physical.

Discussion questions may include:

- How do the psychological dimensions of fasting interact with the physical dimensions of fasting?

- Why might fasting be an effective/ineffective way of engaging with one's faith?

- Are there proper/improper ways to fast?

Join us for discussion of these questions and more over a round of free drinks and garlic fries! We hope to see you there!

Peace,

Marielle
